Cuba is a fairly large island nation that is normally visited by land. But, endowed as it is with a sensationally beautiful coastline and idyllic islands in the middle of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic, it can be visited alternatively on board a boat. Or rather, take an unforgettable cruise to Cuba and the Cayos aboard a luxurious catamaran, with the comforts of a suite. Our Cuba charters are selected among the best. For years they have been offering sailing boats and catamarans with the best services to an international clientele. The starting point is Cienfuegos, a pretty city in the center of the southern coast, about 250 km from Havana. The small marina has all the essential services: water, electricity, fuel, showers and a restaurant. More importantly, the charter has around thirty new and super-equipped catamarans at its disposal, to make your cruise the best. The catamarans are from the best European and American shipyards: Lagoon, Fountain Pajot, Nautitech, many of them with a maximum of 2 or 3 years of seniority. A brand new Lagoon 46 model 2021 with 4 + 2 cabins is even available. The boats have air conditioning, heating, ice machine, barbecue on board. Then sports equipment for kayaking, mountain biking, sport fishing and snorkeling. With a surcharge it is possible to have the top of the range: luxury catamaran complete with crew at your service (skipper, 1 or 2 hostesses, cook). You will be pampered like a 6-star hotel, with aperitifs, cocktails, freshly caught shellfish. Where to go? The Cuba catamaran cruise includes a visit to the beautiful Trinidad, a Unesco heritage town for the splendor of its colonial architecture. You can get there by sailing from Cienfuegos with the Playa Ancón route: from the small resort at the beach of the same name, you can take a bus to get to Trinidad in a few kilometers. Departing at sea, you will head towards the Archipelago de Los Canarreos, a system of three hundred flat limestone islands south-west of Cuba, in the Caribbean Sea. After just over 50 miles, you reach Cayo Largo, the easternmost island of the archipelago, with beautiful landscapes and international tourism. You will be amazed by the splendor of the beaches: there are 27 km of strips of white sand, in an alternation of exclusive resorts, trendy bars and clubs, in sections (for the most part) completely deserted and unspoiled. A pictorial contrast between the blue of the sky, the shades of blue of the sea and the brilliant whiteness of the sand. In Cayo Largo you can go diving and snorkeling at the coral reef, wind and kite surfing, kayak or simply relax on the beach. And then feast on local lobster and fish. Navigation can continue westwards with the other Cayos of the archipelago: Cayo Campo, Cayo Divisa, Cayo Paisaje and many others ... In this wonderful scenery you could stay a month, but a week is enough to make your catamaran holiday in Cuba unforgettable. Save a few days to visit the rest of the island: the fascinating and decadent Havana, the capital of the Cuban Revolution Santiago, the tobacco plantations in Viñales, perhaps to ride on horseback. If you choose the Cuba catamaran charter you will find all this: a splendid marine nature, dream islands and beaches, but also a nation rich in culture and interesting cities.
